The Liv Top is worked top-down in stockinette stitch, beginning with the left and right back sections, which are shaped using German short rows. Stitches are then cast on for the neck, and the back sections are joined to work the back in one piece. Stitches are picked up to work the left and right front separately with neckline increases, before being joined to continue the front as one piece. Once the front and back are complete, stitches are cast on for the underarms, and the body is worked in the round down to the hem. The hem is finished back and forth to create slits. Then, stitches are picked up along the neckline to work a ribbed mock neck. Finally, an applied I-Cord is worked along the edges of the armholes for a clean finish.
