Suggestion for New Project: Organised HELP thread

Dear Lijun/Admin:
For quite some time the Moderators have been discussing how best to organise a central HELP thread that contains all the information that new members need to be familiar with when they join Chcross.

A good HELP thread will encourage  attract new members, encourage more activity and help the Chcross
community grow. We also think that it will reduce the number of duplicates, poor postings and perhaps even reduce the workload that poor understanding of the site can cause.

We hope this will meet with your approval, but as part of the decision process, I have started this thread asking for members opinions on the subject:

the aim of this thread is to give you some insight on what members think about this idea. I hope that you will find it a positive process and will ultimately, approve this project.
