What to do with old magazines

I have several years of Crochet World and some odd and ends of earlier years.  I place them in 3 ring binders with a plastic magazine holder which I purchased from an office supply store on line.
The books are heavy but they are in several binders.  Wondered if anyone else has ever done this

I don't have magazines as I don't order any.  I have an email stream of friends who share patterns.

I like saving patterns and e-books on my computer. Actually I have a large flash drive that I keep them on.  Post time 2017-6-3 19:11

I have scanned a lot of my old things, mostly cross-stitch mags.  I wish I had the room to keep everything, but with four children in this house, minimalism is key.  ;)

Yes, I have scanned some of my books. I have an extended library of crochet and knitting books and magazines.  Post time 2017-6-3 19:10

I do the exact same thing. Except for Vogue Knitting because they won't fit in the plastic things I have.

I have been saving a lot of magazines on my flash drive. I plan to give my magazines away as soon as I have them all copied. My daughter and daughter-in-law wants them  Post time 2017-6-12 20:49

I remove all the ads and patterns I will never use, then I bundle them together in a binder. Makes it a little smaller. Just removing the ads can cut 25% out of the weight.

What a great idea. You are so smart to have thought of this.  Post time 2017-6-13 04:32
