I've been working on this octopus hat for almost two weeks and just dont want to work on it any more. I have so many WIPS but no desire to work on anything. Depression is such a beast to battle. Usually crocheting helps me with it but not lately. Any one else experience this?

I've learned that if I do more than one project I will never finish the first project. I now only do one project at a time.

Sorry to hear this.  I would suggest you make yourself finish some of your projects as it will make you feel better.

thanks all! I have been suffering through post partum depression and just taking it a day at a time. Hoping to finish the hat tonight as it is now a belated birthday gift. Gotta just keep working and taking it a day at a time.
