I've been working on a C2C for 3 or 4 months now, I love it but its huge & ridiculously heavy.  I always see people talking about how they made their C2C or graphgan 'mini'.. How?  Is it just smaller hook or thinner wool?  Or can I make my blocks smaller, instead of 3 stitches do 2?

I used smaller hook and thinner yarn. I made a baby blanket in sport weight, and it was alright, not too heavy

A smaller hook and thinner yarn can help, mandalas are weight 3 if you can find those.  Also, if it is too heavy I like to crochet them on a bed, it's easier to turn them around and you don't have to hold all the weight of the blanket.
