New prices for files...

Hi to All!

Lately , We had lot of complaints about "prices".... They were very high...  At this moment Our users can ask for their files :

Lv.0 max 150
Lv.1 max 150
Lv.2 max 150
Lv.3 max  200
Lv.4 max  250
Lv.5 max  300
Lv.6 max  333
Lv.7 max  333
Lv.8 max  333
Lv.9 max  333
Lv.10 max 333



Please always use "Attachment /File side"  price area... All other prices will deleted by moderators...

Thank you for making this change.  It is great to see mods listening to their users.  If I would have thought of this (I never think of stuff like this until too late :) ), I would have suggested that the amounts be reversed, so that the people at the lowest level earn the most for their posts, and the higher levels earn the least, therefore getting the lower level people elevated faster.  Ether way, I still thank you for listening!  Yeah!

I have been a member for a long time, and while these are the max prices a person CAN set doesnt mean it smart to do so. This isnt really about how much the any pattern is worth real currency, but of how of what is the sweet spot for generating the most downloads for that particular pattern. So setting if a price of 50GC might get you 50 downloads = 2500 GC, but 150 only gets you 10 = 1500 GC, you end up with less in the long run. For people in the lower evels of membership, 150 GC can be priced out of their range, and they will opt for the more affordable options.

Thank you so much for checking! Strange that I did remember setting the price just as shown in your screenshot - not sure why it didn't go through. Is there any way to reset it to 150?
Also - I just posted another one here: https://www.pindiy.com/thread-688472-1-1.html - Also set to 150 - is it showing there? I can't see the attachment once it's uploaded (until you moderate it) and have no way to tell if I did things correctly (see pic attached). Many thanks for your helping out this newbie!

Hello! Thank you for the information. I'm new to posting patterns and have a question about how to set prices. I uploaded this pattern recently https://www.pindiy.com/thread-688287-1-1.html and set the price to 150. However once the the pattern was approved there's no price on it, and am not getting paid as people download. Did I do something wrong? Please help! Thank you so much for your time.

Great. thanks! I probably did something wrong with my first post of Farrah. Newbie error! Anyway to reset it to 150?
I still can't see the Peggy files (see pic). Is this normal? It's also an anwer to a bounty. Sorry for my  many questions. I will get the hang of this hopefully soon! Many thanks!

It is set to 0 because you did not set a price in it when you attached the pattern RAR. You can see in my screenshot, taken before I moderated the thread, that the attachment does not have a price on it. I did not mess with or adjust the price. The price should be inserted into the PIN column right after you upload the pattern attachment.

Thank you - now the prices finally make sense to me! Before I thought they'd be related to the size/complexity of the project and was wondering why so many small ones were expensive and larger ones cheaper!
