Favorite Needles?
My favorites are petites.Whats everyone else prefer?my jj and mary arden oxidize so easily , i dont know why...... I have not heard of these needles could you provide a link please I use only Bohins now. They are highly shined, so they slide through fabric easily and help with needle fatigue.
I think you can find Bohins at most places. John James #26 or #28 petites.JJ is English make, but I believe they are available from most online stores. static/image/common/user_online.gif Rapsy static/image/common/clock.gif 2015-6-18 23:58 static/image/common/back.gif

The only thing about Bohins is that they do lose their shine. They can still be used, of course, but they lose their slide. I do go through more of them. But they arent expensive by any stretch. I like the Bohins best for now, though I havent tried a wide variety of needles.
Size-wise, I think I prefer 26.24 feels a little too big, and 28 feels a little too small, but Ill use them if I need to.
I used to use solely piecemakers but recently switched to behind. i only use 28 Piecemakers every time. The eye of the needle does not wear the thread thin.:) I use unbranded gold needles. I am allergic too nickel and silver ones always made my hands blotchy and itchy. I just have to be careful because one the gold start coming off it is time to change ;P
