I use only Bohins now.  They are highly shined, so they slide through fabric easily and help with needle fatigue.
I think you can find Bohins at most places.

The only thing about Bohins is that they do lose their shine. They can still be used, of course, but they lose their slide. I do go through more of them. But they arent expensive by any stretch.  Details Reply Post time 2015-6-20 05:52
I discovered Bohin needles last year, and now too wont use anything else. Im so picky about my needles! You can get them in bulk for a very reasonable price from Anita Little Stitches (online).  Details Reply Post time 2015-6-19 20:44

John James #26 or #28 petites.  JJ is English make, but I believe they are available from most online stores.

I also only use JJ, used Pony once or twice but found the sizes of JJ and Pony differed  Post time 2015-9-16 14:48

I like the Bohins best for now, though I havent tried a wide variety of needles.

Size-wise, I think I prefer 26.  24 feels a little too big, and 28 feels a little too small, but Ill use them if I need to.

Piecemakers every time.  The eye of the needle does not wear the thread thin.  :)

I use unbranded gold needles. I am allergic too nickel and silver ones always made my hands blotchy and itchy. I just have to be careful because one the gold start coming off it is time to change ;P
