Can someone teach me how to "read" this type of pattern?

Id like to make this duster, butI am totally clueless as to how to interpret this type of pattern. Id really like to learn. Thanks :)

From what I see its to be knit rectangular with sleeves set into the "box".   Twenty inches for the back from the "collar", and 14 inches for the front on the largest size.
Sleeve length 30 inches.Sleeve width is 6.5 inches.Side panel is 18.75 inches from arm pit to end gradually increasing to 22 inches.So the diagram top to bottom is front to back.
Ill take a look at the instructions.No link to download the pattern.   Read through the instructions and I mean read them all beginning to end so you can get an idea if its complicated or not.
