Washing the hands, no eating and no drinking everytime!! Washing the finished project is essential in my eyes - you cant avoid natural dirt (sweat, hair, dust).
Hoop or not? I just do small projects (10-15cm square) without a hoop, for bigger ones I usea scroll frame which is much easier for my left hand wrist :D

Stitching is much about preference!!

Whether or not you use a hoop/frame, I cant see not washing a large project. Theres always going to be dirt, especially on large projects.

Yo tambien utilizo aro siempre....las puntadas quedan mas sentada y me cunde mas .....en cuanto a lo del lavado de manos eso siempre
