I've been crocheting for over 20yrs and never knew of the X sc stitch.

I'm not sure if I've answered before, but I think X looks pretty. i use the false X. and it is just as fast as v just have to train ur hand and brain to do it, for me, stitches and rows are easier to count, too

I knew about the techniques but changing to the new way is very hard to remember. I would be ripping back my work all of the time if I tried to do it. I wonder if it would look odd if I just left the mistakes (not remembering to change the 2nd half of the stitch).
