Your best tip or tips cross stitching hae or other big patterns

Tips on cross stitching big designs. I am thinking of doing a "haed" and I have cross stitch for 30so years but not on the scale of haed. I have mainly done dimensions,Eva Rosenstand and similar patterns . Do you have to go line by line or can I do one color then change when I want. any tips or advice will be helpful. Thanks everyone and stay safe and healthy. :)

Well, my best advice would be to do something smaller!Im always amazed by the HEAD designs I see people do here.I dont think I could do that!

Try one of their free designs and see how it goes.I dont think it would be easy on 25ct over one with full cross. But I have done petit point on 40 ct. gauze in a continental (half cross)
and really enjoyed it.
