Question on translated patterns

Hello! I am fairly new here and have been browsing to find an answer, but have not.
When a pattern says, for example:
Turkish - Translated
Does that mean the original pattern was in Turkish and its been translated? To English?
Or is this pattern in Turkish now, translated from another language????
Thank you for your help!!!!

@randicat
Turkish - Translated means an original pattern in another language (English, Spanish, German) was translated to Turkish.
