Soy incapaz de usar ganchillo. se me cae, voy lenta y tampoco me gusta el resultado tanto como el tejido con aguja. Así que quizás lo intente ero sin presión

Definitely knit for me. I have tried crochet many times but dont seem to get the hang of it!

I started as a crocheter and only just now learning to knit. I think crochet is easier as the hook stops stitches falling off the needle.

I think they are equal but knitting something takes much longer.

I find knitting easier. Its easier on the hands, too. However, I find crocheting to be easier to gauge.Like if youre making a beanie without a pattern, you can just chain and measure with that chain.Knitting can be deceiving on the needles, I know theres a whole formula with yarn, needles, and measurements but I have no patience for math.Crocheting for beginners is friendlier for being creative. When I was seven years old, I made my doll a halter dress.I couldnt read a pattern, and I just went in whatever direction and it turned out to be DECENT.BUT knitting is more convenient to correct MOST mistakes. You can just unravel the column to get to the row to fix.Crocheting, you have to rip it all up to get to the mistake.

For wearable items, I like to knit.Hats and sweaters seem to be lighter and warmer.BUT for bikinis and summer wear, I feel crocheting is better. Also, modern crochet patterns for wearables are beautiful and not just your basic granny square sweater. For amigurumi, crocheting is more accurate with the sculpting for more intricate patterns.Knit is softer. For baskets or purses, crocheting because it holds a shape better, stiff.

But if youre following a pattern, it all boils down to that.Is it UNDERSTANDABLE?Im working on a doll pattern right now that looks so simple.Ive done the body four times, it doesnt look like the pictures.Whereas the cow pattern in Russian looks a little more intricate is EASIER to follow and looks like the picture.

Learn both.Youll be glad you did.I started with crochet when I was seven, knitting when I was 20.With UYT (University of YouTube), it makes learning SO MUCH EASIER.
