Which is easier? Knit or crochet?
I am only able to knit. For some reason the wild crochet hook flying around makes me think that it is much harder than knitting. Any input? I struggle with both, LOL. Im teaching myself knitting and crochet at the same time, and its a journey, let me tell you. i would say the opposite. Knitting for me was much more difficult. Especially the tension was harder to keep. Well, since it is what I mostly do, crochet seems easier to me. But, my mom mostly knitted and she told me it was easier. So...Bueno, como es lo que hago mayormente, el crochet me parece más fácil. Pero, mi mamá hacía mayormente tejido de punto y me decía que era más fácil. Así que... I can do both. I would say they can both be difficult in their own ways and dont think one of the other is easier per say. Yes, I cant for the life of me figure out how to correct errors. :o I never learned to knit. My mom tried and couldn’t get it. I enjoy the look of crochet and the uniqueness
Having done both, my opinion is that knitting is probably more fiddly because the projects you do (more clothing than toys/blankets) are much more reliant on knitting to a VERY specific tension/gauge/size? I dont know that that translates to harder. Needs more attention to detail, maybe. Ultimately, it probably depends on your project!! :)
