The site has been extremely slow for a few days, everything takes foreverwhether posting or downloading Do you use an Adblock? Edited by isabelle at 2024-5-25 19:54
No adblock, no wifi, no browser problem!
It is a server /webpage problem and i can not influence it
Then try using an Adblock! The ads make the website slow! static/image/common/user_online.gif greenteas static/image/common/clock.gif 2024-5-24 19:37

thats always your standard answer when you dont know anything
turquoise certainly cant affect the speed of loading the page, its a transmission problem from pindy Hi there! Ive been having a few of my download pages load slowly lately, too. Its not usually a problem. What I have been doing is leaving the tab open on my computer to load while I go do something else and try not to think about it. Sometimes it takes me 10 minutes to load a page, but nothing like 4 days!
A few other things you can try is clearing the cookies in your browser or trying a different browser completely.I would also try logging out of PinDIY just in case.. It sounds like youve maybe tried a few of these things already, though. Lastly, try opening the download page at different times of the day than you usually do. It could be an issue with site traffic, or simply internet traffic in your local area. For example, I find that my internet speed significantly slows down around 3-4pm when all the kiddies are home from school and no doubt hop on the web at home. If youre really needing a pattern, you could try going to a local coffee shop or library and using their wifi instead.
I hope you find something that works! Please update us if you do! I dont know who did what, but everything has been working since today.
Thanks
