Thanks for the tips!I will give the spiralling out a try soon.Im currently working on Santas village and its the first time working with variegated threads.I love the effect of stripes on the buildings, but possibly the spiralling effect would work better on the other things.				
			
		I havent used any yet, but I love the idea of varigated thread because you can use it to get so many different effects!				
			
		Is it possible to backstitch with a variegated thread?

		i use it for borders and butterfly wings...				
			
		I always stitch a whole cross with any thread, that way you dont have to undo a whole row if one cross is wrong.
