Wont it make the front look uneven? Has anyone a picture of threads woven through the front? I am afraid of bulkiness or waviness.

To my mind, in depends. For instance, Ive refused from using this method for stitching 1 over 1, since the coverage is not hiding all the loose ends perfectly. But it can work in case you prefer to complete HAE with 2 over 1.
