this is surely a spam prevention measure

One of the moderators pitussa has confirmed it was a technical issue, not a voluntary measure.
I am not yet DIY.2 and have my access back already.

I litterally have seen two separate moderators of the website confirm that it indeed is a technical issue. We should definitely trust them.
Also, if it was voluntary, why would it be so uneven (like happening at some times and not others? I've also seen a DIY.8 person stating they had the same issue). That doesn't add up to me

It is really inconvenient because if I can't access anything on the website why would I use it and then I wouldn't get any credits to go to diy 2 group. It took so long to only reach diy 1 group. Diy 2 needs like 126 credits so it will take me like year to get this much credit.

I've been in this site for 4 years and never seen spam. Plus 4 years and I'm still only level 1. I loved this site but how am I meant to get points when I can only engage with free talk. I really do hope this is just a glitch and the rest of us just have to be more patient

If that's true, then it's so inconvenient because you have to get 100 points just to see the patterns. It takes too long. It took so long to be DIY 1 and now I have to get 100 points to be DIY 2? Come on.
