Confused as to how it all works, and how patterns are bought/uploaded

Im confused too .. I registered and saw I had 50 gold coins, I found something and thought I purchased it, but all I can download is a picture of the pattern, but not the pattern itself. Please help!

Ahh, I figured out I needed an additional 30 GC to download the pattern. Commenting on other items earned me 5 GC each, and now I have my pattern downloaded. This is going to be fun.

There are threads for you to plow through, to get information.  Unfortunately you will have to wade through 100s of "thank you for sharing" posts to find any answers.

hello Bexy...  I am not a  pro at this.. but at the  top right  side of the page..  you will see  Credit.. and then a number.. click the arrow.. it will tell youhow many   gold  coins you have.. and  each  time  you go to task..  you can  click on user  group.. and it will tell you  how much credits you h ve  to go to the next level.. remember you have to pay for the pattern..adn then  the attachemnt is another.. amount for the pattern..  so post.. taks.. post patterns   or  if youhave a pattern  thats showing in the Bounty  section..and youhave that patternand no one else.. you get the   amount.. the person is  offering for the reward.. The  person whos relly good at this.. is Sundrop.. shes fabulous..  at all this.. and shes a  fun.. and kind person.. well that i have seen... I love to have  fun in here..andif I canbe of some help I try.. enjoyyyyyyyyyyy... have fun... in findiong things..

Hi everyone  You will all learn the process, it will just take some time.  Every time you log in you will get 50 points.  Then you should go into "My center, Tasks,  and click on whatever stands out in red.  You will get points for this.  You can click on these items every hour for more points.  Go into one of the sections and comment on others work, new patterns, etc., and there will be points fo you as well.  Any other questions,m just ask:)

Thank you for this post and the information. I too have had a hard time finding and doing the hourly task. I think the credits for the user group level are for posting and for being on the site over time.  Like loyalty points for being involved.
