Theyre designed for socks. You hold the longer needle in your dominant hand. I personally found them slightly too long so went for 9" circulars which were easier. These would be ideal for a large sock, but too big for my sized foot.

The Addi EasyKnit 10" circular needles offer a unique design with one long tip and one short tip, making them especially comfortable and easy to handle when working on small-diameter projects like socks or sleeves. Their lightweight, smooth brass tips allow stitches to glide effortlessly, reducing hand fatigue and making knitting faster and more enjoyable. The flexible, soft cord bends easily and stays out of the way, helping to maintain a comfortable knitting rhythm. Additionally, the seamless join between the needle tips and the cord prevents snagging, so your yarn moves smoothly without catching. Overall, these needles are a great choice for knitters who want a comfortable, efficient tool for circular knitting in smaller circumferences.
