Converting a crochet pattern to a knitting one

I gave heard that you can convert a crochet pattern to a knitting  one is this at all possible and how would you go about it. Thank you and have such a lovely evening

Im sorry but that is a very hard task, you would need to actually write a new pattern. But it really depends on what is it: lace? amigurimi? a t-shirt? I guess a very simple round cowl in single crochet would be a lot easier than a lace tunic. But there is no automatic way of doing it.

Can you tell me a little bit more what  kind of project you want to convert? Toys - should be possible, Clothing - there are many patterns available, I would go for a pattern already designed for knitting

you can go on line and put your title in the search area.  It will show you how to convert it, but its a lot of work
