User Spaces - feeds, blogs...?

No-one here is answering the most important fact.  Unless someone explains exactly how not to have a private page specifically it does not matter what anyone adds to it.  No-one will be able to see it.  Likewise with the majority of pages on this site.  The user page is private.   I tried to add a screenshot but I don't know how to do it.

In your settings under privacy, set the items you want visible to "public"... then click save.

I've been wondering the same things. Especially about spaces.

Like whats the recommended image dimensions for the background, header, content area, etc?
Can you use the full image or does it have to stay zoomed in for you to use the 3x3 grid square thingy?
And, can you change the color of the text in your feed (in the content area) from something other than light gray? (I've tried changing the text and link color for the header, content, title, and background areas but thats the only one that stays gray?).
