User Spaces - feeds, blogs...?

Hi all, sorry for the possibly dumb question. I've noticed on some user's pages/spaces that they have interesting stuff going on. This includes feeds, blogs, activity... can anyone explain to me what these are, and why would one do this? How can I write these? And what are Red Envelopes? And why do some people have nice pictures on their spaces?

Sorry if I sound so clueless about this. I'm still quite new to the site (3 months since I joined), but I'm loving my experiences on here so far. Thanks to all the kind users who have been so welcoming and helpful! And thanks in advance for any advice on this topic!

It is a gift. You can purchase a red envelope here: open "My Center" and click on "Magic".

If I want to give a gift to everyone who visits my personal space, I put red envelopes.
When you visit other forum participants' spaces and see red envelopes, click on them to receive the gift.
It can be different from 1 pin, 2 pins, 3 pins, 4 pins, 5 pins, 10 pins, etc....

You can customize your personal space as you wish.

Go to your space settings and customize.

As for blogs and feeds.  
I haven't published a blog yet. And feeds... I don't write it.
These are the latest posts I've visited and commented on.

Well... a red envelope is a nice gift for those who visit your personal space. You put some coins there and those who come to you can get them if they press the red button.
Pictures on a personal page... There is no special purpose. We post them just like that... For aesthetic pleasure.

But I can't tell you anything about blogs and feeds. Does anyone do this? Does anyone publish anything there? I am also interested in finding out.

Thanks for your reply and for explaining the red envelopes! As an example of blogs and feeds... the user pepistoyan seems to post a lot on their space. I don't know how to put a link to their user on here, but they are quite active on the site so hopefully you can find them.

There is a blog button on the personal space to add images etc. It gives another screen with In progress | HELP! | Finished!.  Selecting one of these is another screen where you can post new blog.

I don't know anything about feeds.

Oh! Yes, see, you have your own space here on Pindiy. You can dress your space up, add/hide different sections, and decorate as you please. It's something that was done a lot on older forums and I remember on Tumblr as well. Blogs are like your 'posts' and little updates on projects and such. It's a fun thing to do, specially if you plan on doing anything else other than mindlessly post on the painting fairy for pin and then buying the patterns you want (which is totally fine! Though a bit boring :) ) Interacting with others here has been a joy personally, and this is just another way to add a personal touch to your stay here!

Clearly I'm no expert so I'm gonna call @pepistoyan to explain how to do it if they wish :)

   To give gifts, you must have!.

First, you need to earn enough pins to be able to give gifts.

Visit the task center every day:

There are many bonuses from which you can earn pins.

When you open "My Center" and click on "Tasks", you will see the tasks that you can complete.

There are tasks that bring you a bonus every hour, you just have to click on them and complete them.

Level 1 Hourly Bonus - Credits, Pin 12

Level 2 Hourly Bonus - Credits, Pin 13

Level 3 Hourly Bonus - Credits, Pin 14, .....etc.

As for comments, I assume you know that you earn 10 pins per comment and 20 pins per post.

Also, 10 visits per day to other forum members earns you 10 pins, and sending 10 greetings per day to different people
also earns you 10 pins. And when you visit another forum member's space, you never know what you might find there!

Here's how you earn pins little by little.

Surely first someone has to explain how to open a page?  Most people's pages here are private.  I've never had any idea how to unprivate the page.  Because it's pointless writing stuff and having red envelopes if your page is private. No-one can see them.
