Why am I no longer credited with the gold coins due inresponse to a comment?

  Ive been noticing for some time now thatdespite making many replies or comments, the gold coins due are not credited tome!

  Just now I commented on the following posts:

1-ScatteredSeed Samplers - Shelter From The Storm by Tammy Black

but the 10gold coins for each reply + post were not credited, and more than a minutepassed between one reply and another..... :( :( :(

Definitely not fixed by site owner.

The gold coins are only given every 10 minutes for replies now. If you reply, wait 10 minutes then reply in the next thread, you should get the 10 gold coins for the reply.

I just tried it and sure seems a “new feature”… that will make it a lot harder to earn coins. Not sure how that will affect esp newbies and with coins for patterns going up.

@Turquoise thanks for the clarification: it was too strict a rule and would certainly have demoralized the users.....

It would be nice if there was some sort of mechanism to stop people commenting multiple times on the same thread.  I added a new cross stitch chart recently and one person thanked me for sharing three times, one after another.
