Making a post in the forums or threads only gains 10 pins and frankly, the amount of 'thanks for sharing' replies just clutter up the threads instead of talking about the pattern, any tips, etc. The threads could be genuinely useful if not for the flood of repetitive replies just for the points. Incredibly annoying when you post a bounty and get a dozen 'thanks for sharing!' replies...I haven't shared anything! I'm looking! Clearly this is the most accessible way of earning pins for forum users but I don't think it enhances the forum experience. Maybe we should prioritise posting responses on the diaries to encourage actual engagement? I generally don't post unless I have something to say or add to a topic. I'll say thanks for sharing if I actually download a pattern however. Just a few thoughts...

I must admit I do get cross when people say 'thanks for sharing' before the moderators have approved it.

I believe I said I say thank you for any pattern I download. I just don't spam it everywhere. That's good internet etiquette. I have participated in some threads where I felt I could contribute. Again, I believe it's polite to pay attention to what the thread is about and respond accordingly.

I'm not sneering at anyone, if anything you've added an unpleasant tone to this thread making those comments and attempting to explain my commentary through a hostile lens.

As for buying pins, I honestly would not advise as it very crypto and also, not everyone has money to spend that way. It strikes me as out of touch to just assume people have the resources to spend money for a fake currency. Surely they'd just buy patterns instead? And yes, some patterns are very expensive. Three hundred coins is a considerable amount of pin to raise and then add the 30 coins on, it is a lot. I don't think there's anything wrong with people expressing that.

You used to be able to do tasks for make a good amount of pins (video task? Before my time) but that went away. I think it's acceptable for people to be disappointed about those things. If people can't express their opinions on a forum such as this, what are we doing here?

Honestly, anytime someone makes a legitamate thread about issues, there is always one person who needs to come and say 'you're just a hater, go elsewhere'. I suppose some people will stan for anything.

If people want me to clarify my emotional feelings on a subject, message me or ask in thread. Don't make up stories, please.

Доброго времени суток)  Монетки зарабатываются путем ответов на посты.  За каждый пост "10".  Что тут трудного - открыли раздел или коллекцию и вперед. Само вам ни чего не придет.  Надо немного времени и усердия. Я на сайте с 27.07.2023 года... сейчас уже "9" уровень.  Да начинать было трудно, но терпение и труд все перетрут.  Не так все сложно, как кажется на первый взгляд. Удачи вам.

It was a little jarring when i first joined here a few weeks ago that people just write "thanks for sharing" under any and every post, but I know that especially at the beginning I had a really hard time earning credits and a few comments like that really helped boost it. So I guess I'll just say that I understand it, even if it can feel frustrating sometimes.

I've got a thread running on this forum offering a gift pins to low pin people, about half a dozen people have responded, you could have posted in there instead of criticising somewhere you've only just arrived and enabling other people to bounce into the comments and sneer too.
