One thing that always cheers me up is seeing  large bunches of colorful embroidery floss.

Are they specialist threads?  The purples look like DMC,, but I cant make out the other  skeins.  Lovely, anyway.

The purples are DMC, the other two packs are Galaxy. Ive never known this brand before, but the price was quite cheap, so I tried to bid. I won the bid at ebay for US$ 34 (60 skeins DMC and 90 skeins Galaxy).
