You can't imagine how much I agree with you! I've been stitching for 14 years now and have no framings on my walls. Instead, I have (I mean, other people have, because 95% of my works are given as gifts for family and friends) pillows, tea towels, bath/face towel sets, bibs for babies, bookmarks, biscornus, pincushions, etc... but no framings!  I'm working on my first one right now, in a SAL w/ Diadora. Hopefully it'll be finished in a couple of months and I'll be proud to show it here.
