Dear Stitchers,
as you already know, «The Fairytale Advent Calendar» is a pattern created by The Little Stitcher. As you have seen at once, it is a wonderful pattern, so it is understandable that you are happy to download it free, now that one of you has shared it. But it is a creation by The Little Stitcher, it is a work of art and love by a stitcher who earns her living through her work of art and also offers many of her creations free, and you can easily buy it from The Little Stitcher at a most affordable price. To download it free as you are doing now is most unfair and also, it seems to me, violates the Cross Stitch Term of service, because «The Fairytale Advent Calendar» is a work of art and as such it si protected by copyright. Like every work of art, it should be not only appreciated but also respected. Work should be respected. Creator and creations should be respected. I think that as stitchers you fairly desire to be respected, you and your work, and to be respected implies to be respectful. So, please, if you like «The Fairytale Calendar», be fair, visit The Little Stitcher’s blog, buy her beautiful pattern, and, if you like, download the free patterns that she offers. Thank you.
