Prize-Winning Rooster for my Husband

My husband always wanted a picture of a rooster and I finally found the one I wanted to stitch in an old Leisure Arts magazine.

Here is the finished project along with my progress pictures.  It took me a long time and there were loads of fractional stitches and so much backstitching.  But I think in the end it was worth it.  I won 3rd place at a judged contest with it, too. :)  Thanks for looking!

Thank you!  Yes, my husband was very happy - it hangs proudly in our kitchen.  :)
