Did you know...you can turn almost any doily pattern into a bowl or similar container (hat, platter, etc.)?
Use commercial fabric stiffener, drape your completed doily over an appropriate sized shape (cover it with plastic to keep it clean) and let it completely dry.
Makes a great gift, whether you decorate it or leave it as is. :)
