This title is not exactly translatable from Norwegian. But the images in this 13 page booklet most certainly are and it is lovely hardanger! As a lover of the history of stitching, this is what Ive found out about Clara Weaver:
Clara Wæver, 1855-1930, Danish embroidery shop. Clara Wæver opened in 1890, an embroidery shop in Copenhagen, where there also were given training. She placed from the outset emphasis on quality, also in the artistic design of embroidery patterns, which was not common at the time. In 1903, when the studio, which had been driven by the painter Constantin Hansens daughters, ceased bought Clara Wæver models, patterns and some of the drawings. She knotted contemporary artists to its business, even after she sold the business in 1917, now known under the name Eva Rosenstand Clara Wæver.
