Looks fabulous seb!  What did you decide for the top?   It really is a great finish!

I found a brass end cap button that looked like flower petals and used that.  It still didnt look that good, so I bought some wool works and stuffed it in between the petals to hide the opening at the top and then put the ribbon through.  Not what the pattern called for, but since I didnt get the original kit, I had to improvise!
