I was at JoAnn's over the weekend and they had a clearance on an 18" knitting board. It was regular $50 and on clearance for $14! So of course I bought it!
Mind you I'm not a very good knitter, I find crochet much easier and faster but I love the look of knit, there's a lot you can do that you can't do with crochet.

I was wondering if anyone ever used a Knitting Board by KB and did they like it? How did items you create turn out? Were they as nice as traditional knitting?

I've not had time to do a test run but it looks fairly simplistic, it's basically winding yarn around posts. Different directions give different effects from what I've read. I had seen online they say you can convert traditional knitting patterns but I've not looked into this yet. Has anyone done this?

Thanks for your advice

I've never used one, so I can't say.   I'm sure there are lots of tutorials and patterns on the net.

that is actually the product I purchased! They changed their model, mine has metal pegs, the new one is plastic. I saw it at Joanns the other day when I went there. Still haven't tried it yet but have some yarn I can't crochet at all with so may try that.

I started knitting on one. Then switched to crochet, THen learned to knit proper lol.
My kids use the knitting boards now. Easy to learn, but sometimes you need 2 strands of yarn to make them!
Crocheting is still faster. And knitting proper is too at least for me. But its an easy way to get the look of knit for sure!

I have used one.  It seems to work up much tighter than regular knitting.  Maybe I need more practice.
