Im going to have to try to make some this way. I like the look of them. I usually make mine with the lever back earing findings. I can use them as earings or stitch markers. The neat thing about the lever back findings is that they are removable if you knit them in.
Its a wonderful idea. Thank you for sharing. I usually use a piece of yarn or markers from a shop but they are not very convenient (they are quite big and always come out). And sometimes I use simple safety pins or special safety pins for wool (made of plastic).
