Horses for courses. Different kits, aida, size of design etc but my favourite needle is the beading needle. When that comes out I know I am going to have some fun

I like any count linen and side 28 needle.

As time as gone on, Ive come to really like linen myself. I prefer 28 count, however Im hoping to start working on even higher count :)

I prefer size 28 needles, however I have never tried beading needles and I do have a lot of them since I was doing beading before I came back to cross stitch.

If you use 25 or 28 evenweave you can either do over 1 thread for a very fine stitch,  or over two.

If you do over 1, it will be the exact same as the fabric stitch count, if you do over TWO threads you will HALVE the amount of stitch counts. So 28 evenweave would become 14 stitches per inch. With full crosses, you will go diagonally and skip over one hole, if  that makes sense.

Im new at cross stitching too :D and really enjoy it! So I try to help whenever I can. I was lucky to have a friend who has been stitching for 10+ years explain things to me.
