Continental ( yarn in the left hand) Im a crocheter first a knitter second. Crocheters hold the yarn on the left so it was far more natural to knit that way.

I am a thrower, or English style.  I am trying to learn continental too, but have a hard time with tension with my left hand.

I knit the English style.  I never knew there were two different ways until a few years ago.  I just knitted the way my mom taught me.

Continental, since I learned to crochet first and have crocheted for many moons and just learned about a year ago to knit.

Since I learned to crochet and knit as a child, I stuck with crochet mostly. When I picked knitting up again a few years ago, it was much easier to knit continental, as it felt like crochet to me. :)
