Attention: Knitting Forum Users!

There are some problems that are re-occurring over and over in the posting of Knit patterns right now. Because many are being done by Level 0 members it is almost impossible for me to contact them to discuss these issues. Following are the most prevalent issues at this time:

1. Charging members to look at a thread is NOT allowed ever! This thread shows with pictures what NOT to do when uploading : //www.pindiy.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=148980

2. There must be a picture and the pattern to download. One or the other is NOT allowed, please include both. (picture must NOT have part of the instructions in it, only the item the pattern is for and the person wearing it)

3. No non-English characters can be used on any attachments. All attachments must be in the English language. Recently there have been a number of Russian threads with Russian characters in the title of the pdf; and that is not allowed.

Two Examples of How to Post a Knitting Pattern:

1. For a design with a designer name: Debi Birkin- Pocket Pals Nellie and Hiphop  (Notice the designer name is first, then the name of the pattern.

2. For a design with a company name AND pattern number: MadMonkeyKnits-No. 438: Smiley Rollbrim Bobble Beanie Hat -Notice the company name has no spaces in it as that is how it is on the pattern, then the pattern number, then the actual name of the pattern taken off the pattern itself.
