Another affordable silk is Dinky Dye it averages around $4 and you get 8 meters of 6 stranded silk

Im surprised to see some of you use hand creme before stitching. I always make sure to wash my hands frequently while stitching so there are no oils. I do use creme when Im done for the day and before I go to bed.

I know its great with silk but as a vegan I cant use them
