I have organized my large DMC floss collection first by wrapping each floss onto a cardboard floss card and labeling it in pen with the DMC floss number. Then I place each cardboard bobbin into a labelled hard plastic floss organizer box. The box holds approximately one hundred bobbins and closes tight. To store all my threads I have seven of these plastic floss organizer boxes. By organizing my threads this way I save time and money because I can easily determine whether I have the color on hand or if I need to purchase anything to start a project.

Yes, there are many ways to handle the big floss collection. This was posted 8 years ago and still work excellent for me. Its cheap & easy to use. Especially when I want to bring them with my journey  Details Reply Post time 2021-9-14 18:51
