Im also working on my first hardanger table runner but Im not sure how to finish the edges. How did you save the fabric before you finished the edges? With backstiches? Or did you use fabric glue (Ive often read about this method)? Or did you only stitch buttonhole stitches and then cut the overhanged fabric?
I would be glad to get some information. :)
