[Processing Crafts] HalloXmas stocking

Ive begun on my Halloween-Xmas stocking work around. I began with a Dimensions Gold design with Xmas tree branches and 3 ornaments hanging on the tree with lovely snowflakes in the background, which I havent stitched yet. Inside the ornaments, instead of the lovely winter scenes, will be zombies. Thats right. Zombies. These stockings are for kids who like zombies and horror on their Xmas tree. Killer Klowns, zombies, bats, etc. The nightmare before Xmas continues all the way to Xmas in this house.

Its not much, but its a beginning. Stitched on dusty blue 14-count Aida with DMC gold wire and DMC threads. Its coming together.

Oh my gosh what a super fun idea! This is totally something Id do too LOL! And Im a huge zombie fan! Ive been reading zombie books for a good 6 years now!  Im so excited to see this project come to life so be sure to post lots of progress pictures! Looking good so far keep it up and keep me in the loop ;P

So far it looks great, keep on stitching :)  I have my zombie on my car that say "we are your stick people"  LOL

Great idea, and I know the boys will love it.  It is always fun to do something "outside the box" and it is only you that you have to please.  Zombies are more mainstream here, and there is even an advertisement with a talking zombie.  My granddaughter loves them, but they have to be "nice" zombies when we play....;P
