@Vernak regarding the Crochet section, due to the vast amount of patterns we receive on a regular basis it would be difficult to manage a sticky on each item we receive.
However, What you can do is when you are on any section, be it Free Talk, Crochet Resources, Patchwork or otherwise, there is an option to sort the messages.
You will see text that says Order By, there is a drop down list next to it, click on that and then click on Post Time. This will show you all posts in the order they were originally posted and not by the system default which is last post.
Perhaps it could be suggested to the Admin to change the default from last post time to Post time. This of course would require code changes.
In regards to adding an image to the searches, while I am not a developer on this forum, I do believe that this would be a major code change and something that would have to be brought up to the Administrator and Owners of the site. I am not even certain if this particular forum code allows for images, it is something the Admin would need to look into.
There are ways using Google advanced search to actually find the images on this site only. I have been working on a Search Tutorial for this site but have not been able to complete that at this time. As soon as I do it will be posted in the FB section of the forum.
