WOW! That is niceeeee! You did a wonderful job! Yes, xs can be so addicting. When I was younger all I cared was to get done so I could have the finished piece to look at and decorate with. Now in my late 40's I pick up my needle and frame and *sigh*. It's so nice and comforting and it doesn't matter so much about the finished piece as it does just getting maybe one little section. :lol  The time slips away and I look up and hours have passed in quiet peacefulness. I have learned to enjoy it for enjoyments sake! FINALLY!!!;P Keep up the good work, you did excellent!

Thank you! I have become such a process crafter - I find that lately, while I do love the finished object, I enjoy the making of it so much more. It is a wonderful "therapy" for me. :)  Post time 2013-11-9 08:12

You chose a great pattern and did a wonderful job! Congrats. If you're stitching using two strands I really recommend the railroad technique - there are tutorials online.

Thank you! I looked up the technique - it looks promising!  Post time 2013-11-9 12:42

Oooh, it's lovely!  Welcome back to cross stitch!  I knit and cross stitch and wish I could sew, but there is only so many hours in a day!  :D

Ha - I know! I keep telling myself I don't have time to try any more crafts - I have to stick to what I already do. Doesn't always work... ;)  Post time 2013-11-9 12:44
