My daughter is so proud of her afghan with matching pillow, that she wanted me to post them here too :)
(I did it not my daughter she is too young for such a big work, she does just a bit of cross stitching and works with her knitting Jenny (?) but she always tries to help me <3)

You did an excellent job then it is beautiful :) Mine is 10yrs and I just cant get her to pick up a needle... she will sit though for hours with felt and hot glue and other things making crafts  Post time 2013-11-10 00:13
I made it for her, she is too young for such a huge project :)  Post time 2013-11-10 00:10

My daughter wanted to learn to sew on the machine so for Easter we got her a small machine that does like 25 different stitches I got it at a really good price then went to the craft store and got her material and I tried to show her how to do basic sewing but she does not seem to be into it :(  For cross stitching I got her started and she went and picked a lamb so it was white on white and quickly lost interest :(  But give her a glue gun and material and felt and she comes up with some interesting things :)
