The cotton stitch was easy, but theres quite a lot of metallic stitches, which were annoying :L

This one was kinda challenging, but I liked stitching it.

And this one, while the cross-stitching was easy to do and the metallic stitches were only 8, the backstitch was not fun at all. And I really really hate doing French knots for eyes because I couldnt make two same knots. As you can see, my Santa looks like a demented Santa because of his eyes :Q

Nice finishes!   You could replace the french knots with petite seed beads.  I think the metallic threads really make these little stitched pieces perfect.

You did do a terrific job with the metallics. Theyre so difficult to work with!  Post time 2014-1-2 04:39
Thank you! Yes, after I did the awful French knots, I thought about using seed beads. Ill definitely use seed beads for the next chart with French knots in this project.  Post time 2013-11-17 00:32

Absolutely beautiful!  Yes the metallic threads can be a pain in the butt... I find that using smaller lengths of thread is best.  But they do set the piece off and make it stunning :)  I agree with LouAnna I am in love with seed beads instead of using french knots :)

I feel you with the french knots!!  I hate them too and I have to look up how to do them all the time.  I may try the beads the next time if its right for the project!

Love what youve got done so far :)
