I also used Ginny Miller Flower Thread that Ive had forever for the chipmunks. I wanted to try out some options and it turned out pretty well.
Thank you. No, I modified the colors used in the design.Both are separate charts. Weeks Dye Works thread is charted, but my granddaughter loves pink, so pink ornaments and metallics for glitter.

And thank you. You should give it a shot. Try something small and sew straight stitches. Leave the flourishes for later, or at least cross stitch something for your sister for helping out.
You can put the stockings together by hand stitching as well. Takes longer, but its really just straight stitching and slow around the curves. Nothing fancy. I hand stitch the linings to the stocking
