Remebering Santa

When my uncle told me the story about the cross stitch Santa they rescued from my mothers trash, I couldnt remember what it looked like. I remember doing several Santas more than 20 years ago, but this one just escaped me -- until this morning when my aunt finally sent me a picture. They also sent me a picture of the framed piece I did for their 62nd anniversary hanging on a cabinet in their living room with pictures of their very large family and 3 of their many grandchildren -- the youngest grandchildren.

Absolutely beautiful!  I am so glad that recovered him before he was lost that would have been a shame.  It is a wonderful thing to see pieces that we did years ago that our loved ones still cherish :)
