Can you write a crochet a pattern?

There is a pattern on the site for the dress and accessories (it's called the Granny Caddy) but I would like to have a pattern for the doll too.
The way I see it...and I know that I am simplifiy things here;P but the body and head would just be two crochet ball like circles?  The body circle would have a flat base so she wouldn't wobble when she stands and a smaller circle for her head.

I would like her to be uber cute with delicate features.  Mrs Santa is the closest I have come to pretty features.

I would like to make these as gifts to the old age home ladies-they would love them!!

Oh I so badly wish I could help you! This is such a wonderful idea and everyone would love it! Did you try searching for patterns that are at least similar to what you are looking for? There are so many dolls on this site there has to be something! From what I've already seen here it seems the German patterns have the most details for the facial features you're looking for. I'll have some time tomorrow to look at this some more ...I'll let you know if I can help :loveliness:

I did search yesterday (and still searching) but not come up with anything except maybe this //www.pindiy.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=115436.  The Caddy pattern can be found here:
//www.pindiy.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=155621.  The patterns would have to be re-written so they fit each other and also to ring in some changes like the red and the purple one in the above pictures.  I don't know how tall those dolls are but my guesstimate is about 12"?  Enfys of Rainbow Valley Crochet is on the site and maybe she would be able to tackle this :-)
I also think it's a wonderful idea and would be a bit hit with children too.  Change the head to their favorite character and they can keep their erasers, pencils, pen, crayons etc in.  De finely need it in a few sizes!
