I did this some years ago,l took the picture from a Franklin Mint plate,and used Easycross to make the pattern.It`s about 20 x 24 inches and took.....nearly 2 years if l rember rightly.But l am proud of it and it has the place of honor on my wall.As you can guess,l like the Original Series lol............

This is beautiful!  I need to ask what thread you used and what fabric.  I am getting ready to do a very large piece myself and not sure my initial way of doing this is how I want to go about it now.
